Analysis of installation diagram for door and window sealing strips
The installation of sealing strips varies depending on the material of the doors and windows. Choosing the appropriate sealing strip for doors and windows is a prerequisite for ensuring sealing quality. Below, we will introduce the installation methods of door and window seals using aluminum alloy doors and windows and plastic steel doors and windows.
1. Installation instructions for aluminum alloy door and window sealing strips
Aluminum alloy door and window sealing strips are different from ordinary aluminum alloy doors and windows. They add four nylon insulation strips in the design of the profile, which can achieve excellent insulation effect and achieve energy-saving goals. In terms of sealing strip selection, ordinary aluminum alloy doors and windows use general (PVC) sealing strips, while the Ministry of Aluminum Alloy Energy saving Doors and Windows stipulates the use of EPDM rubber sealing strips, thermoplastic, elastomer (TPE) sealing strips, or nitrile rubber (PVC) blended rubber sealing strips to ensure their sealing performance and service life.

Please note during installation:
A (window frame, window sash) should be welded and cleaned, and the rubber strip should be pushed into the profile groove with a special roller in the correct direction and direction. At the same time, the triangular cap of the rubber strip should be pressed down until it is embedded into the profile groove. Due to the fact that the rubber strip is an elastic material, it may retract after being rolled. The correct method is to retract the two ends of the rubber strip slightly towards the middle when it is installed at the interface of the two ends, leaving a shrinkage margin of 2-3 centimeters, and then cut and embed it.
b Glass pressure strip (single glass, double glass): Manually insert the rubber strip into the profile groove according to the correct surface, push one end of the rubber strip forward with force, and when it reaches the end of the front profile, retract the two ends of the rubber strip slightly towards the middle, and then cut off each end with a margin of 1-2 centimeters. If the size of the profile groove is irregular and difficult to insert, a small amount of detergent dilution solution can be used to brush the profile groove once with a brush, which can reduce the installation load. The correct installation method can ensure that your doors and windows achieve satisfactory air and water tightness, without shortening or missing corners.
c When using the entire roll of adhesive tape, the packaging line should be untied first, the upper packaging tray cover should be removed, the middle paper core should be pulled out, and the beginning of the adhesive tape should be pulled out from the middle. The correct usage method can avoid glue entanglement, knotting, and other corners, saving installation time.
