After the external window is watered, the on-site engineer will enter the house at regular intervals to visually observe and inspect whether there is any leakage in the external window and its surroundings. Promptly mark the areas where water leakage, moisture infiltration, and water marks are found, identify the cause of the leakage, make detailed written records, and further arrange for rectification and re inspection. After summarizing and analyzing, the prevention and treatment of external wall leakage should focus on the following aspects:
Reason 1: The bottom of the peripheral filling wall has not been reinforced with concrete or laid with three layer solid bricks;
Preventive measures: Three layer solid bricks are installed at the bottom of the wall in the external window area
Preventive measures: Install concrete anti threshold at the bottom of the wall in the external window area
Reason 2: Rough and non-standard sealing of holes reserved for external wall scaffolding and I-beams;
Preventive measures: Use cement mortar to seal the screw joint of the external window, and then apply JS waterproof coating
Preventive measures: Use fine stone expanded concrete to seal the reserved openings and handholes on the exterior wall
Reason 3: The upper part of the window sill was not topped with 6CM concrete, but was built with solid small bricks;
Preventive measures: Pour 60mm thick concrete on top of the external window area
Reason 4: The 150mm high aluminum alloy window frame on both sides and the bottom frame are not sealed with cement mortar/concrete. There are fixed wooden wedges, small bricks, and foam glue at the bottom of the window frame; The 150mm high seam on both sides is not qualified; The closure between the window frame and the wall is not in place, rough, and has large gaps;
Preventive measures: The cement mortar joint between the aluminum alloy window frame and the wall should be in place, and the closure should be aesthetically pleasing
Reason 5: The glue around the window is not applied properly, and the sealant is rough, uneven, and peeling;
Preventive measures: Apply adhesive around the aluminum alloy window frame to ensure it is compact, straight, and aesthetically pleasing
Reason 6: There is no eagle beak/drip line or a sloping phenomenon on the eaves of the window; The window sill is not sloped or has a reverse slope phenomenon;
Preventive measures: The drip line/eagle beak on the eaves of the window should be properly made
Preventive measures: Set a slope outward from the window sill, in accordance with the drawing requirements, and ensure smooth drainage
Reason 7: The gaps between the aluminum alloy window frame profiles are large, and there are no drainage holes at the bottom of the frame. The joint parts of the profiles are not tight, and the gaps are large;
Preventive measures: The aluminum alloy window frame profiles are tightly jointed and equipped with drainage holes
Reason 8: The single-layer air conditioning panel on the south side has no slope or waterproof layer; There is water accumulation in the double-layer panel of the air conditioner, and no slope has been found. There are no drainage holes at the bottom of the louvers.
Preventive measures: The waterproof construction of single-layer air conditioning panels should be sloped in place without water accumulation. After waterproofing, apply mortar to create a slope protection layer
Preventive measures: Leave drainage holes in the bottom frame of the louver, and ensure that there is no accumulated water inside the double-layer air conditioning panel. After waterproofing, apply mortar to create a slope protection layer
